This is Martha’s Geese in a Storm quilt 2. All of the flying geese are folded 3D. Custom quilting is required for raised items. I used continuous curve and some apple leaf designs in the background with a brown thread. The batting was Hobbs 80/20.

This is Shirley’s Fancy Fox quilt. The pattern is by Elizabeth Hartman. The quilting design is Window Pane by Kristin Hoftyzer, silver grey thread, Quilters Dream batting and the backing fabric is Minky. Cute, love it!!!

Here is a link to Jo Morton showing how she makes those lumpy, bumpy seam intersections lay flatter. Its a short little video: Jo Morton Clipping trick
I love Jo’s methods of getting things to match up.
Take a little time to sew!
This is Nancy O’s queen sized star quilt with Star Spangled Banner design quilted allover. The thread is light blue & the batting is Hobbs 80/20 wool. Perfect for the 4th of July. She placed a orphan block in the center of the back of the quilt.

This is Pat’s Quilt. The Quilting design is Bloomingdale B2B by Ann Bright. The batting is Hobbs 80/20 & the thread color is violet.

Kim’s Memory quilt for a special friend. She chose a large water meander with copper color thread & Hobbs 80/20 batting. There were some sequins, jewels and puff paint to go around so freehand meander was needed. She put some piecework into the back, a nice addition to the quilt.

Yesterday I was sidelined with some vertigo so a quilting day off, then of course when storms hit I unplug so a spinning & rain delay of sorts. Today is a new day so off to quilt!
Donna’s table runner is finished. I’m showing the back so you can see the outlining around the appliqué. All it needs now is binding.

Today I’ve been working on Donna’s Coneflower table runner. I have most of the outlining finished & started on the wavy crosshatch. I got a late start on it today so I hope to finish up the rest tomorrow. Its very pretty & I like how its coming along. The background is a mix of cottons & the coneflowers are wool appliqué.

This is Martha’s Making Tracks quilt. The quilting design is Modern Waves, Quilters Dream batting 70/30 blend & dark green thread.

Happy 4th of July weekend!
Bonnie’s quilt with Ebb & Flow allover design by Lorien quilting. She chose white thread & white Hobbs 80/20 batting. What a pretty blue & white quilt!
