Its been a mess at my house with some interior painting going on. Its been a challenge to work in the chaos. Most of the painting is done & the quilting is done as well but the posting photos took a back seat.  In an effort to catch up, I’m going to post a quick quilty montage.

This Marlene’s Nativity Stained Glass quilt I’m slowly working on. I’m grateful to have two machines so I can take my time working on this while quilting allovers on the second machine.

This is Kathy’s Keepsake quilt. She chose Daisy E2E design by Karen Farnsworth. The batting is Hobbs wool  and the thread is a golden yellow.

Kathy’s next quilt is a 4 patch variation. The quilting design is Lightly Flowered by Ann Bright, Hobbs wool batting and orange thread. Her backing is a cream print.

Denise made this cute teacup quilt. She chose the quilting design called Embellish by Hermione Agee. The wool batting really gives this quilt texture. The thread is lavender.

Connie used a quilting pattern called ZAP by IT’s Sew Emma. She shared that it was a fast and fun quilt to make. She chose a quilt design called Ginko Gardens, the batting is Quilters Dream Select and it was quilter with variegated thread to go with all the colors in the quilt. A solid lime green thread was used on the back of the quilt. The backing fabric is flannel.  Connie has been busy making a lot of gift quilts. Someone is going to be the lucky recipient of this beauty.

Pam has the Falling Charm pattern down to an art! She can whip one of these up for a baby in 2 hours. Its a fun quilt to make & they look good with some many different quilting designs. The quilt design on this is PS I Love You by Patricia Ritter. The batting is Hobbs 80/20 and the backing is Minky fabric. We had a sunny day this morning so I just let the sunshine show on these pics.

Deb pieced this Mickey Mouse print quilt using a  variation of Tilt a Whirl from Quilters World Magazine. The Quilting design is Mouse Ears 2 by Joanne, Red thread & Hobbs 80/20 batting. This will make a cute gift !!!

This pretty piece is Rosanne’s. She chose Swirling B2B allover design, Teal thread and Hobbs wool batting.  It’s going to look stunning once its trimmed and bound. The backing is a solid black which shows off the quilting very well.

This is Rosanne’s Tipsy Tumbler quilt using Missouri Star Quilts pattern. The method of piecing is a little different for this quilt. The fabric is folded and sewn instead of cut into shapes. Its fast but the seams feel a little thicker. The quilting design is Geometric B2B by Ann Bright. She chose a Hobbs wool batting & yellow thread.  The extra blocks were put into the backing.  I think it turned out stinking cute!

On the clock …Here’s are pics of Jo’s bright pink wallhanging, with Curling Ferns by Tammy Oberlin, pink thread and Hobbs 80/20 batting. She chose a white muslin backing.

Off the clock… I’ve finished a couple more blocks on my BOM project, 3 down 2 to go then I’m ready for the last 2 that I haven’t received yet. The backing is flannel and the appliqué is wool. This is my first go at something like this so don’t look too close.

I’ve had this Valentines panel kit for a couple years and just never got it finished in time for Valentines Day. I finally finished it, simplified the borders (no appliqué) and got it quilted. This is pretty small 38 x 58 wallhanging. Now it just needs some binding and I can call it done.

The quilting design is Sweetheart 2 by Donna Kleinke, poly-down batting and a soft pink thread. I just happened to have the same fabric as the border in a different color way in my stash for backing! That’s what happens after buying fabrics from the same shop for years. I have a lot of fabric that I’ve forgotten I bought & maybe even bought again!
