This is Jan’s Cuppa Wool Quilt. It’s the last wool custom quilt I’ll be doing for clients. Her stitching was lovely. I think I learned a lot from just seeing all the wool quilt’s I’ve quilted this year. Beautiful job, all of them.

Andrea’s Cuppa Wooly Sue Spargo Quilt
This is Andrea’s very nicely stitched Sue Spargo Cuppa BOM quilt. This is the next to last custom wooly quilt I will be quilting. I think this turned out nicely. There is a lot of outlining, and background fill quilting. The batting is Hobbs Wool. I used 3 threads, a matching teal, bone and mono thread. I think it turned out really nice.

Cathy’s Modern Quilt
Cathy made this cool modern quilt. She wanted it channel quilted with white thread & white Hobbs 80/20 batting. The backing fabric was solid white.

Insta-Stitch Wool Quilt
This is Sue’s Insta-Stitch Sue Spargo Wool Quilt. This is custom quilting that I agreed to do for my BOM Sue Spargo Yahoo Group. I used Gold, and Mono thread. The batting is wool.

Wooly Story Quilt
Here is a wooly quilt Sue did for her daughter. It depicts her daughters life up until her graduating with her PHD. She did a lovely job!

Wooly Quilts Progress
Here is another Cuppa Quilt, quilted for Pam V. Her stitching up close was exceptional!! I’d love to know the trick for getting those tiny chain stitches so even. Here are some photos.

Look at her stitches the chain stitch, running stitch….all of them perfect!!

For those still waiting I’m working on two for Sue, then Jan and Andrea. They are the last of my Wooly quilts for 2017 & probably for ever except for my own.
Thank you to those that have waited patiently for their quilts.
Winter Quilts
Here are some winter quilts. First a quilt themed after the movie Frozen. The quilting design is Star Swirl by Terri Watson and Michelle Wyman, a silver blue thread & Hobbs 80/20 batting.

Another winter quilt, the quilting design is Winter Wonderland by Barb Becker, Blue thread and Hobbs 80/20 batting.

This is a table topper by Pat L. She embroidered the center motif. The quilting design is Holiday Vine B2B by Ann Bright, gold thread & Hobbs Poly-down batting.

Joyful Thanksgiving
I wish everyone a Thanksgiving full of joy.
I will have family in for the long weekend so I will not be quilting or scheduling appointments. All quilting business will resume on Monday Nov 27th.
For those waiting on a Wooly quilts, I will be working exclusively on these to complete and ship them before Christmas. I will also be in touch with you with any additional questions that may arise regarding the quilting of your quilt.
I am currently book appointments for January quilts. If you have a last minute holiday quilt that still needs quilting, consider gifting the quilt top with a gift certificate for quilting. They will love choosing a design and threads for their own quilt.
Enjoy the holiday!
Consider a Holiday Gift Certificate
Are you still working on a quilt gift for the holidays? Most quilters this time of the year are already booking for the 2018.
Have you considered giving a Gift Certificate for the quilting? It can be a lot of fun to have the quilt recipient participate in selecting the quilting design and thread color for their quilt. You can still bind it or include that in the gift total as well.
Gift certificates can be sent via USPS or email.
Call to make arrangements.
Dawg Daze Charity Quilt
Martha made this Dawg Daze quilt top in a class and is donating it to charity. I didn’t think a edge to edge design would look good. I decided to play around a bit on it a bit instead. If you look closely you can see cats in the batik border fabric. I hope the child that receives this quilt really enjoys it.
