This is a charity quilt Cathy finished making. She didn’t have a backing but I just happened to have a bolt of fabric that was gifted to me that was the perfect match. It is hard to see the quilting design because of the busy print but you can see it on the back. Now all it needs is some binding. 🙂

The quilting design is Butter-Fly B2B, Poly down batting and Blue jean Gold thread.

This is a pattern by Sharon Blackmore, a Canadian Gammill Rep and fearless leader of the Prairie Quilt Militia. Both Martha and I started making this quilt. Martha’s is finished and mine is still laying in a pile about 1/3rd finished. Didn’t this turn out lovely?

The quilting design is Persian allover, blue jean gold thread and Quilters Dream batting.

Lori B made this cute Book Shelf Quilt. Her daughter took it to some conferences and had a variety of Authors & Illustrators sign it. Some even included illustrations. It’s really a one of a kind keepsake. Nicely done!

The quilting design is Windowpane, Grey thread and Hobbs 80;/20 batting.

I picked up an old project I need to finish and started working on it again. It’s from a workshop I took in 2016. Time to get busy finishing up more blocks and putting it together. Right now I have 46 blocks done but realized I have a lot more navy color ones and need more of all the other colors to even up the distribution. Since they are only 6″ finished I will need more anyway for a decent throw size.

Martha’s quilts, the first is Brickworks. It has quilting design Surf allover, with black thread and Hobbs 80/20 batting.

The second is a consignment quilt, Star Log Cabin quilt. The quilting design is Baptist Fan, sage green thread and Hobbs 80/20 batting.

This is another Dresden plate quilt by Pam P. She has this method down. Isn’t it a pretty one? The quilting design is Embellish, Hobbs 80/20 batting and White thread.

A couple more of my Grandmothers blocks done on the vintage redo keepsake of mine.

There are two Kathy’s one with a C and the other with a K and both have last names that start with an L. Just in case you’re seeing a lot of quilts by Kathy/Cathy and wondering. :).

First is a panel quilt with Flowers on a String allover design. These all have Hobbs 80/20 batting.

Next is a Northwoods quilt. It is full of fun blocks. It’s got a lot of work put into it. The backing is sateen. The quilting design is called Vine. My photos’ don’t capture the beautiful sheen of the sateen but its lovely in person.

This is a really pretty throw of nine patch and rails. The quilting design is flowering vine. She chose a romantic backing. I think this quilt is going to be a gift for some lucky friend.

Hi all! I’m back from vacation and brought home a nice summer cold. In an effort to not share and beat the heat, I’m going to work downstairs in the studio quilting.

Here’s my line up: Maryann Burton 1, Kathy Lewis 2, Pam Petersen 1, Cathy Labrie 3 and Martha Stewart 2. That gets me close to the end of the month.
